BIG KID

I can't believe my little punkin is a big kid now! She was soooo ready for Kindergarten last week. She loves it and she loves her teacher. No more kids at home during the day for me!

Sophie's First Ballet

This weekend was Sophie's first ballet. She has been taking ballet for 18 months and she was able to show off some of what she has learned in the performance of "Into the Sea". Her character for her ballet pieces was a "purple fire fish". She also was "sun coral" for her modern dance number but she didn't want her picture taken in the costume because it is a yellow and red unitard with a big spikey thing that covers her head. She thought it was embarrassing. I thought it was cool. Anyway, my sister took some pictures of her in her costume. She also had a beautiful headpiece but it had black fuzzy things on it for fish eyes and I guess she was too cool to wear it in the pics.

Early Easter

Facebook has taken all the fun out of blogging. As you can see I have not posted since Christmas and now it is almost Easter. Lots of things have happened in our family but I just have no desire to catch the blog up to date so I will post these recent pics of the kids and try to do a better job with our family's journaling. I hope to have lots of Easter pics at the end of the month. Easter is my very favorite holiday closely followed by Halloween which will probably be here before ya know it!
