Thomas the Tank Engine rolling along.
Three sold out days of eight rides a day with 6 cars of 72 people each at $20 a head equals cha-ching for Thomas.
My boy has been waiting many years to meet Thomas the Tank Engine in person and last weekend he got his chance. We drove to Austin, Texas to enjoy a Day Out with Thomas. He had talked about going to see Thomas for two weeks before we went and when he finally saw him he was very excited. He got a Thomas t-shirt and a new train. Lillianne also enjoyed the train ride and got some Thomas silly bands and she and Andrew got Thomas tatoos. It was a beautiful day. Sophie was a very good sport about the whole thing and didn't complain too much about having to endure the Thomas activities.

Whenever we see anything train related, Hilton says, "Andrew would like that..."
Yay for Andrew!! Sometimes I actually miss doing things that really would make my kid's day/year! Now it really has to be something BIG!
When Cameron was four we told him we might take him to see Thomas and he said something like "And we can talk to each other!" and I was like, "Um, no, this Thomas doesn't talk" and he was like "AHHHH! He does talk! he does!" screaming for several hours and we never did go. Last year, finally we made the trip and he was able to accept the experience for what it was. How fun for you guys to go do this. I'm glad he loved it :)
